A while back ago a friend of mine contacted me asking to make her a simple but light shawl.  I thought ok, not a problem.   Well my first attempt, to be honest, for what I wanted to do didn’t come out very well. I ended up turning it into a baby blanket.

So the search for the right yarn and that began.  One day I came across the perfect yarn.  So I grabbed a few skeins.  Still didn’t have a pattern until later when I came across it by accident.  However, not enough yarn for the pattern, but wanted this pattern.  So Maddy and I went to the craft store one day to pick up a few things and we were checking the yarn.  I told her it had to be a soft and fuzzy yarn but neutral colors.  She went down the isles of where the yarn was and squeezed and felt each one until she found the right one.  Gotta love her.  lol

So I began the shawl but I didn’t stop where the pattern said to.  Instead I kept going to make it big like she wanted.  Then came time to put the border on.  Personally with the soft and fuzzy yarn the border didn’t look right so I did another instead.

And this was the end result.  Customer loved it as much as I did and then some.  I’m thinking of maybe making one for myself.  😉
