So I decided to do some more chalking and this time I wanted to use different textures/items to see what sort of results we could get.

The first was a coffee mug and a wine glass.  I used ink on these and heat set them in the oven.  They came out much better then I had thought.  Even though I did get a fingerprint on the wine glass, it’s alright, my signature if you will.  🙂

Next was this plate/tray that I had been eye balling at the dollar store.  I wasn’t sure if it would heat set right in the oven or not since I wanted to use ink, but for the price if it didn’t work out I wasn’t out much.  Came out beautiful!  I was amazed to say the least.

The last one was a little plastic hanger that I had gotten to put a small plant or maybe a fish in.  I did with regular chalk paste but I did not want to seal it so that if later on I decided to change it I would be able to wash off and redo.  Isn’t it cute?

So that’s the latest adventures of chalking.  If you would like more information please click here.
