I wanted to make a puppy quilt and the idea kept nagging at me. Through the summer I started collecting various dog pattern material. Ended up some how I had more paw prints then the others.
I then decided to cut my squares and on a few of them, not all, I embroidered some dog patterns I had or I had purchased. So it began.
Cut the squares on my ScanNCut and allowing a 1/4″ seam allowance. Figuring I would need about 54 squares. Took about a day but once that was done the embroidery began.
Took a few days to do the embroidery and a couple that I had messed up as well, but once done it was time to place them to see if it would come out per the chart I had drawn up.
This was the result:
Now if you noticed there are squares that are folded. I have to go and redo some embroidery on that square so that it will come out the way I would like it to. Now mind you, this is not a pattern from any where, just something I put together. I didn’t even plan on the way the squares came out once I arranged them, just happened that way.
Back to the machine I go!
