Amour Crochet Hooks

When I was working on the Starlight Afghan I needed a larger hook.  As any crocheter knows the larger the hook the more “loopy” the project can be.  Well, I did not have the size needed so I went to Hobby Lobby one day and I found this hook.  I had seen it in the store before but for the cost I just couldn’t bring myself to purchase it.  So this time I had Hobby Lobby’s coupon in hand and I decided to purchase it.  What’s the worst?  A hook that is really uncomfortable?

When I had gotten home I set it aside and continued to finish another project I was working on at the time.  When the time came I opened the package and right then and there I was instantly in love!  This hook is so comfortable in your hand and there is no need at all to put a rubber grip on your hook or anything.  I then started to work on the next Starlight Afghan.  To my surprise it was even better when you were using it.  Through the whole project it was amazing.

I had to go back to Hobby Lobby to get a few other things one day shortly after this, so I decided to look to see if they had any other sizes.  To my surprise the hooks are only available (at least at my Hobby Lobby) in 7 mm and up.  I was heart-broken.  So if ever comes the day that I find one in a smaller size that I use often, you can bet that I will be snagging that one up, whether I have a coupon in hand or not.
