Maddy’s Quilt – Final

Well I finally finished Ms. Maddy’s quilt.  It measures approximately 56″ x 56″.

When I started it was just going to be a small one but it ended up larger.  Then I decided that each square represents something to her.  Yes, I know she’s only 9 years old but I got the inspiration from my Grandmother who made quilts for all of us grandkids.  Thank you Grandma.

So what did I do with the left over material?  Made her a pillow case to match of course!

Now I have washed this a few times and seen a few stitches that have popped so I will be fixing this for her.  But again it’s my first one ever and I’m very proud that I have done this.  I have begun a new one.

But no matter what she loves it and has to have it with her at all times.  That’s my baby girl!
