Kendra’s Apron

My cousin contacted me last summer to make her an apron.  I was excited because I wanted to make some aprons.  I have none and the one I do have my grandmother made me when I was a young girl.  Over the next several months we talked about ideas.  I did some searching for patterns.  Now I did end up buying one pattern but when I was ready, it just didn’t “speak” to me.  For what I wanted there was no pattern.  So the search continued.  The result was that I took pieces parts of things I liked and I made turned it into my own design.  To be honest, wasn’t really as bad as I thought.
