Well I was so hungry for some sort of Taco Bake that I can’t remember any of those recipes that were going around Facebook so I decided to make my own. If there is a recipe out there, I am truly sorry, but this one I did on my own. So off to the store to grab a few things I need and came home and made this. It’s quick and easy and the kids just love to build their own.
I doubled this as my family just loves this!
Ingredients:
- Ground Beef (I used 2)
- Taco Seasoning (I used 2. I’ve also used Chili Seasoning as well)
- Shredded Cheese (I used cheddar but you can use what you like)
- Sour Cream
- Diced Tomatoes (I used 2 cans)
- Corn Chips
Directions:
- Brown your ground beef. If you like you can add onion, salt, pepper, and garlic. Drain.
- Add Taco Seasoning minus the water.
- Add Diced Tomatoes but don’t drain, pour it all in.
- Simmer for a few minutes or longer so that everything blends well together.
- In a bowl put a handful or so of corn chips down.
- Put layer of ground beef mixture on top of corn chips.
- Add a layer of shredded cheese.
- Add a spoonful or so of sour cream.
- Optional – Taco Sauce
- Enjoy!
