Jelly Roll Rugs
I had some jelly rolls that I decided to use to make some rugs. Simple right? Yes and no.
The oval rug I learned that you have to keep your lines straight and also stop often and press so that it will keep its shape. Otherwise, you will have problems as I did in the first part, which in turn, would mess up the rest and you would have to spend the rest of the time trying to straighten up. Will I do another? Probably but not any time soon.
The straight one was simple but I only used a roll and probably a quarter of the other as I ran out of the strip batting and by this time it was getting pretty heavy to sew once it was all joined together. This one, however, is a lot easier to do then the oval one.
Happy stitching!
