Southern Baked Mac and Cheese

This was such a hit with the family!  Let me tell you they ate and asked for more!

16 oz. box Elbow macaroni

2 cups Milk

1/2 stick butter

4 cups harp cheddar cheese, shredded

Eggs, beaten

4 oz. Cream cheese

Salt and Pepper to taste



1preheat oven to 400 degrees

2Prepare macaroni according to instructions on box.

3Drain and return to pot.

4Add 3 cups of cheese, milk, eggs, butter and cream cheese.

5Add salt and pepper to taste.

6Pour into a greased 9 x 13 casserole dish.

7Top with the remaining 1 cup of cheese.

8Bake at 400 for 30 minutes.
